10 Memorable TV Wedding Dresses To Inspire

10. Revenge

Can't say I actually watch the show, but this dress certainly has my interests piqued. Designed by the show's stylist, Jill Ohannesson, it feels classic and romantic, perfect for a traditional wedding in the luxe Hamptons.

9. Downton Abbey

"Love may not conquer all, but it can conquer quite a lot."

The dress, a vintage, with some seriously gorgeous updates from the show's stylist and designer, Anna Mary Scott Robbins.

8. Pretty Little Liars

To be fair each of them looked gorgeous rocking their gowns, but one in particular stood out - the dress worn by the character Spencer was actually a combination of multiple dresses and custom-made corsets that resulted in an enviable silhouette.

7. Gilmore Girls

"It's all any of us wants, to find a nice person to hang out with 'til we drop dead. Not a lot to ask!"

Designed by Monique Lhuillier, this dress has a sad ending when Lorelai and Luke never make it down the aisle, yet it still remains one of my favorite outfit moments in GG history. This and Lorelai's cut off short shorts and cowgirl boot combo, obviously.

6. Reign

Mary Queen of Scots rocks it in this lace covered creation. Also designed by Monique Lhuillier, girl is on fire!

5. Gossip Girl

White and metallic gold? Yes please thank you please. Part of the Georges Chakra Couture Collection.

4. Girls

How does this not give you all the warm and fuzzy's. OK, so perhaps the marriage didn't end in marital bliss, but this dress is to die for and a perfect take on a boho wedding with some punk thrown in for good measure (Blue suede with gold skull Alexander McQueen shoes not shown). The dress was a thrift shop find and her veil was custom made by the shows designer Jenn Rogien.

3. Sex and the City

Of course this New York socialite would have the perfect dress. Designed by Bradley Mischka with a beaded edge veil to match.

2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

First, can we admire Angel and Buffy? All the fangirl feels, like wow. This was actually part of a nightmare scene, but Buffy's gown was nothing but dreamy. An elegant and simple take on a traditional wedding dress. Le sigh.

1. Outlander

"For where all love is, the speaking is unnecessary. It is all. It is undying. It is enough."

Forced to marry Jamie Fraser (not the worst predicament) Claire steps out in what can only be described as something straight out of a fairytale. The low cut, off the shoulder gown was, for the most part, historically on point and gorgeous to boot! It featured silver fabrics and decorations, sewn with metal thread like they would back in the 1700's so in candlelight the dress would glow

Now let me leave you with this, which can accurately be described as couture porn.

Happy Dreaming.
